2nd Chance Tattoo & Removal
How 2nd Chance Was Born
Our owners, Alexcia and Delboi met in Glasgow, Scotland back in 2019. She was on the adventure of a lifetime and wanted to commemorate it with a tattoo the day she landed. She found herself in Delboi's Glasgow studio. He tattooed her, she made him cupcakes and the rest is history! Delboi is in Winnipeg 4-6 months out of the year, so make sure to book when he's in!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Carbon Peel?
A Carbon Peel helps improve the look of skin by providing deep exfoliation and stimulates collagen production. It’s used to treat oily skin, acne, acne pigmentation, acne scarring, enlarged or clogged pores, melasma, photoaging, fine lines and wrinkles. This treatment is also beneficial if you’re starting to see the effects of sun damage to your skin.
Does a Carbon Peel hurt?
No! It is a painless procedure, you will feel the heat from the laser and hear the typical laser "popping" sound.
What is aftercare like?
There is no downtime after a Carbon Peel! If you have very sensitive skin, you may have slight redness. Make sure to keep the skin moisturised, avoid retinol for at least a week and always use SPF!
When will I see results?
You will see the full results of your Carbon Peel 1-2 weeks after treatment. You may repeat treatment monthly until optimal results are achieved. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6-9 months.
How does Laser Tattoo Removal work?
The laser is applied to the tattoo, penetrating approximately 5mm to shatter the ink particles in the skin. White blood cells will collect the smaller pieces of ink and dispose of them through your lymphatic system! We love science!
How long does it take to remove a tattoo?
This varies widely and is dependent on the tattoo. The laser is naturally attracted to darker inks, so black tends to be the easiest to remove. On average, total removal can be completed in 6-8 treatments. Your laser technician will adjust the laser as needed to achieve the best results.
Is Laser Tattoo Removal painful?
It can be uncomfortable. Commonly it's said to feel like a rubber band snapping on the skin, but don't worry, it's a very quick procedure!
